Old Adobe Mission

First Street & Brown Avenue, Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona

The Old Adobe Mission is a true historic monument. Its beauty and simplicity of design, and the quiet majesty of the structure continues to call people to contemplation and serenity – truly, a still point in a turning world.

In 2000, Fr. Thomas Hever, Pastor of OLPH, determined that the little building needed to be restored for the community. A group of parishoners formed a committee dedicated to the restoration of the original, historic church. Their goal is to return the mission to a center of quiet and reflection for locals and tourists.

You are invited to visit the Old Adobe Mission – it is open every day, November through April, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.

If you wish to contribute to this restoration effort, please contact the OLPH office or click here to view a printable flyer describing current activity and opportunities to participate.
